Seeing Stars
Last night, I was looking out the window and noticed a sweet little star twinkling back at me. I was enjoying watching the star and had a realization: from this distance, that star is a tiny point of light dancing before me. If I were right in front of this start-or even remotely close-I'd be vaporized by a giant ball of flame.
Same star, different perspective.
The same goes for anything that's happened in our lives. It's not that we can completely forget, but we can gain some perspective. The more we grow, the more we expand our awareness. Something that once felt so immense now seems like a pleasant point of light.
Life happens. It all comes down to the state from which you observe and experience it.
