The Only Thing That’s Ever Happening
Yesterday in our weekly knowledge and mentoring group, we were having a discussion on resilience and why some folks have a hard time handling the ups and downs of life. Society's fixation on success vs. failure was a hefty part of the conversation. Success, the fear of failure, and product orientation are all tied together to make the most unsustainable of cocktails.
When we believe our fulfillment lies outside of us (in some person/achievement/acquisition), it's easy to be afraid of failing. If we don't find the person, win the game, or get the job, we don't feel good. We don't feel validated.
The more we meditate, the more we experience fulfillment where it truly lies: within. By giving our body, mind, and consciousness twice-daily access to that deep state of rest, we find ourselves saturated in fulfilment. We have inner validation and we're less reliant on the comings and goings of life's events.
From this place of steadiness and abundance, failure doesn't feel like failing. Everything feels like an opportunity. That's because we've become more aligned with our Universal nature. And what's the universe up to at all times?
Evolution
That's it. Anywhere you look, at any moment, it's all evolution. Whether it's new growth, maintenance, or decomposition and destruction, it's all about progressing.
We don't get better at seeing this through thinking about it. Upgrade your consciousness and you'll naturally start seeing solutions instead of problems. Keep meditating and everything will continue to align in a more elegant, progressive manner. And when you find yourself struggling or moving through a challenging time, remember that it's all evolution.
