Problems
Problems only exist when we aren't adaptive enough to see the solution.
There’s always a solution. Are you conscious enough to see it?
Every day, demands are thrown our way. What’s a demand? It’s a change of expectation. Something unplanned and beyond our control. It’s all about how we meet those demands. If we don’t get adequate amounts of rest, we don’t have the energy needed to adapt and meet those daily changes of expectation. When we can’t adapt, the body goes to its last resort: fight, flight, or freeze…we have a stress reaction.
And that’s when we have a problem.
What’s happening for most people is that they’ve got an adaptability deficit. The demands keep coming, the ability to adequately respond is non-existent, and the problems keep piling up.
How can we change this? By becoming more adaptive. How do we become more adaptive? Rest! Not just the rest we get during sleep. We need deep, efficient rest where the body has time to restore, repair, re-energize, and release stress. Easiest way to do that?
Vedic Meditation
The rest achieved during Vedic Meditation has been shown to be 2 to 5 times deeper than our deepest level of sleep (measuring rest by observing heart rate, blood pressure, metabolic rate, and oxygen consumption rate levels). The more well-rested we are, the more energy we have to adapt to any demand that comes our way. We meet any change of expectation that comes our way with more creativity, intelligence, and stamina.
We’re always able to see a solution.
Demanding day? For meditators, no problem.
