Wisdom Requires Action
Recently, I came across a wonderful quote: "We are drowning in information, while starving for wisdom." -EO Wilson
Living in the digital age, we have a plethora of information at our fingertips. But for most folks, it stops there. There are plenty of people who have read countless books and can share many thought-provoking sayings, but they're still wildly stressed.
Their consciousness state is not aligned with the information they hold.
In order to be wise, we've got to be able to walk the talk. We must become living embodiments of the knowledge we possess. And that does not come from overthinking and hoarding information. We have to go beyond that. We've got to have direct experience with the consciousness state that contains all knowledge. As we continue to enmesh and integrate that state into our daily lives, the more we find ourselves acting in line with the knowledge we wish to share and profess.
Wondering how you can have daily direct experience with that state? Each time we meditate, we are diving in and immersing ourselves in the source of all thought, all creativity, and all wisdom. And each time we come out of meditation, we are integrating that blissful, unbounded state of consciousness into our waking state. We access that state, integrate it, and then we must take our show on the road.
Grounded in Being, perform action. True wisdom is knowledge on the move.
