Big consciousness isn't surprised.

Laws of Nature are simply a matter of cause and effect. They're noticeable patterns.

Surprises come when we aren't able to notice those patterns. Predicting the future doesn't have to be so mystical. From a Vedic perspective, the present is the future in the making.

If you're wondering what the future will look like, look no further than right now. The bulk of suffering comes from not being able to detect cause and effect. Folks are planting the seeds of what's to come; and then they're surprised when the effects come their way.

This is where expanding our awareness can have such a profound effect. With stress no longer hijacking our senses and our attention, we're able to notice more of what's going on around us. Bigger consciousness allows us to see the bigger picture. And when we can notice the patterns, we can use those mechanics to our advantage.
